Recently I tried to access my mail through my favorite mail client Thunderbird and my account would not log into my gmail account. The mail client popped up with an error message box that said "Web login required (Failure)". My mail was working for other accounts and I had not changed any settings recently so it was not a mail client problem. I did a search and found other people having a similar problem.
